I’m sure there’s a scientific name for the “rainbow effect” I saw around the moon one night. The scientists can keep their name: I’ll stick with the joy of a baby’s lullaby.
There’s a rainbow round the moon,
Clouds are dancing to nature’s tune,
Little crickets play the song–
frogs and toads hum right along.
Leaves are waltzing with the air,
Blowing through the willow’s hair.
Sleep little baby, rockabye:
Nature’s crooning her lullaby.
